NFDI-Neuro: building a community for neuroscience research data management in Germany

Abstract Increasing complexity and volume of research data pose increasing challenges for scientists to manage their efficiently. At the same time, availability reuse are becoming more important in modern science. The German government has established an initiative develop management (RDM) increase accessibility reusability at national level, Nationale Forschungsdateninfrastruktur (NFDI). NFDI Neuroscience (NFDI-Neuro) consortium aims represent neuroscience community this initiative. Here, we review needs RDM faced by researchers as well existing emerging solutions benefits, how general NFDI-Neuro specifically can support a process making these better available researchers. To ensure development sustainable practices, both technical engagement scientific essential. is therefore focusing on building just much improving solutions.
